Kimberly Parker+Follow🍷 Met a bartender last summer and basically lived at the beach #SummerMemoryMy birthday is in the summer so I was already in party mode, and then I met this bartender who instantly became my partner in crime. Suddenly I was hitting the beach three or four times a week, drinking cheap beer, throwing frisbees, getting sunburned, and eating rooftop BBQ while the sunset tried to outdo itself every night. We never talked about how it would end, but once work came back into the picture, so did reality. Things just faded out. Still, I catch myself smiling when I think about it because for a couple of months life really did feel perfect. Who knows, maybe next summer has another surprise waiting. #SummerMemory #SummerFling #BeachDays #SunsetVibes #LoveStory #Relationships 20Share
Amy Rodgers+FollowMy Summer Fling Stories Are Insane. This One With a Guy in France Is My Favorite.I think I'm slightly addicted to summer flings. Every summer, I travel and meet someone, and it's like a crazy, electric bubble forms that only includes the two of us. One of my most memorable summer flings was with a guy I met in France. He had been with the same girl for 12 years. He asked me for a cigarette, we started talking, and we were instantly inseparable. We knew we wouldn't be able to stop ourselves if we even brushed hands. So, 45 minutes into the conversation, we made a pact never to touch each other. I was leaving in a week. We spent the entire time not touching at all, just wandering and talking until dawn. We barely slept. He had a hammock that he'd read to me in while I slept for a few hours. Then I'd wake up and make coffee while he slept. It was all about the connection, not the physical part. I have so many of these stories. Like the time I met a guy at Comic-Con and we ended up sleeping on the doorstep of my hostel because he couldn't get in. Summer flings for me are the most intense relationship possible. They're so pure and beautiful that it almost feels like it didn't happen to me. #SummerMemory #SummerFling #TravelStories #RelationshipGoals #MakingMemories #LifeLessons #SituationShips 00Share
