Sunbathing With My Furry Therapist
Today, my cat decided that my laptop was the second-best sunspot in the house (the first being, obviously, the actual patch of sunlight on the floor). So, work break it is. There’s something about the way pets chase the sun that makes you question your own life choices. Why am I not sprawled out on the carpet, basking in the warmth, instead of answering emails?
Honestly, I think my cat’s got it all figured out. She stretches, yawns, and soaks up every golden ray like she’s on a tiny vacation. Meanwhile, I’m over here, jealous of her ability to live in the moment. Maybe tomorrow I’ll join her—laptop closed, responsibilities on pause, just me, my little sun-chasing roommate, and a whole lot of Vitamin D.
