Why did no one teach us interview gear?

Okay, time to get down to business. Why didn't anyone sit us down in high school and say, "Hey, this is what you wear to your interview?" They were so into teaching us algebra and dissecting frogs that they didn't teach us how to choose a suit. I swear, it's like we were expected to magically transform into mature adults without any real instruction. I had my first interview the other day and I spent more time Googling "interview outfit" than actually preparing answers. That's crazy! Why didn't high schools have classes on this? Teach us how to tie a tie, or what color clothes won't make us look like we just rolled out of bed. Come on, if I want to get a job, work attire should be number one.
