Caught Red-Pawed, Still Too Cute to Scold
So, I walk into the living room and there’s Luna, my cat, halfway inside the snack cabinet. She’s got a bag of treats in her mouth, looking like she’s plotting a full-scale heist. For a split second, I’m ready to channel my inner strict parent. But then she turns around, eyes wide, whiskers twitching, and gives me that classic ‘Who, me?’ face.
Honestly, how do people stay mad at these little furballs? She’s basically telling me, ‘Yes, I broke the rules, but look at my face and try to resist forgiving me.’ Spoiler: I caved immediately. Gave her a treat and an extra cuddle for good measure.
If being adorable is a crime, she’s definitely guilty. Anyone else’s pet have a talent for getting away with everything just by being cute?
