Mavs are considering trading Klay

Multiple U.S. outlets are reporting that the Dallas Mavericks are exploring trade options for Klay Thompson before the mid-season deadline. According to ClutchPoints’ Brett Siegel, the front office wants to gauge Klay’s market value after a rough start — 8.5 PPG on 29.2% from three, the lowest marks of his career. He’s also been moved to a bench role for the first time in years. Klay’s response to this is still professional: “I’ll make great performances… big things are coming,” he told reporters.
