Give your Christmas tree a second life!

That Christmas tree in your living room can do a lot more than just look pretty—once the holidays are over, it can be recycled into mulch, compost, or even help restore local habitats. Dropping your tree at a recycling site keeps it out of landfills and puts it to good use in our community. Just remember to remove all decorations, lights, and stands before you go. Drop-Off Option: 📍 Stringtown Park (7340 Burlington Pike) 🗓 Dec 26, 2025 – Jan 15, 2026 by 5 PM (Remove all decorations before dropping off!) Curbside Pickup: 🗓 Friday, Jan 2, 2026 – place your tree at the curb the night before ⚠️ Trees must be free of lights, tinsel, and ornaments ❄️ Snow may delay pickup to the next day if roads need treatment Every recycled tree becomes mulch for community landscaping projects! 🌱 Questions?
