🚨 BREAKING: SUSPECT ARRESTED IN UTAH TRIPLE HOMICIDE AFTER MULTI-STATE MANHUNT
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the deaths of three women in Wayne County, Utah, ending a multi-county manhunt that prompted temporary school closures and safety alerts.
According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, 22-year-old Ivan Miller of Blakesburg, Iowa, was taken into custody Thursday after authorities tracked one of the victim’s vehicles from southern Utah through northern Arizona and into Colorado, where he was arrested without incident.
Officials say Miller is expected to face three counts of murder, one for each victim, though investigators say additional charges could follow as the case develops.
The investigation began Wednesday when two women were found dead on a hiking trail in Wayne County.
A third victim was later discovered dead at a residence in the same county.
Authorities say the women were in their 30s, 40s, and 80s, but their identities and causes of death have not yet been released.
The crime scenes in the Lyman and Torrey areas are being processed by the Utah State Bureau of Investigation and the Utah Crime Lab.
Officials say the search for the suspect involved coordination among multiple agencies, including the Utah Highway Patrol, as authorities warned residents to remain vigilant.
Investigators have not yet released a possible motive or whether the victims were connected to the suspect.
