Uniforms are meant to create equality in our schools—but asking families to pay $13+ for a single logo shirt for a 10-year-old? That’s too much. If logos are required, shouldn’t the district provide them, like textbooks and other essential school supplies? At minimum, every student should get two logo shirts free per year, with the option to wear plain-colored polos for daily use.
