Are We Really That Replaceable at Work?

Today at our union meeting, I felt like I was living in a bad sitcom. Management straight-up told us we’re all replaceable—like cogs in a machine. If we burn out or quit, there’s a line of people ready to take our spots. Honestly, it stings because it’s true. The job market is brutal, and I can’t just snap my fingers and find something better. They know it, too. That’s why they get away with underpaying us and ignoring our requests for fair schedules. I’m stuck, frustrated, and honestly, a little scared. Has anyone else been through this?
