Being a single mom is tough enough, but when your own family keeps letting you down, it cuts deep 😞 My sister Sarah always promises to help with the kids, then cancels last minute with some excuse. I've learned not to count on her anymore, even though we get along great when she actually shows up 🤷‍♀️ My mom takes forever to return calls - sometimes weeks! When I really needed someone to talk to after a rough day, she finally called back three weeks later like nothing happened. And don't get me started on my brother Mike. He only comes around when he wants something or needs me to watch his kids so he can post those "fun uncle" photos on social media 📱 Sometimes I sit here after bedtime wondering if other single parents feel this alone when their own family treats them like an afterthought.
