how did i end up growing dragon fruits in a tiny container?
Last summer, I took a wild chance and planted dragon fruit in a random plastic tub on my balcony. I had no clue what I was doing, but I was determined to make it work. Turns out, these plants love a bit of chaos. I stuck a bamboo stick in for support, watered only when the soil felt dry, and let the sun do its thing.
Watching those weird, spiky stems grow was oddly satisfying. The best part? When the first flower popped up, I felt like a proud plant parent. If you’re short on space, don’t stress. Dragon fruit can totally thrive in containers if you give them enough light and a sturdy place to climb. Now, every time I see those bright fruits, I remember how fun it is to experiment in the garden.
