The Winged Victory of Samothrace is the most awe-inspiring historical artifact I have ever seen, and it truly gave me goosebumps. The Winged Victory stands gracefully, as if floating mid-air. Originally offered as a sacrifice to the gods, it once stood tall in a temple on the Greek island of Samothrace, much like its current placement atop the Daru Steps. The statue captures the moment when the winged goddess Nike descends onto the ship's prow.
