🇨🇺 The strong impact Cuba brings to us is filter-shattering. 🇨🇺

📍 Exploring Cuba: - As the last stop of our trip around America, we finally reached Cuba, a destination that is notoriously difficult to reach. ✈✈✈ - Our 8-day journey took us to Havana, Santa Clara, Cienfuegos, and Trinidad, representing the capital, second-tier cities, small cities, and towns, respectively. 🌆🌃 - It was a deep dive into the heart of Cuba, and our impressions were completely transformed along the way. 💭 Preconceptions vs. Reality: - Before arriving, we associated Cuba with mojitos, classic cars, the blue Caribbean Sea, and warm people. 🍹🚗🌊❤️ - However, our in-depth tour shattered all the filters that had colored our perceptions. We were left wondering why we didn't know about the real Cuba before coming here. 💼 Economic Challenges: - Currently, Cuba is facing significant economic problems, exacerbated by three years of epidemic and an escalated U.S. blockade. - The sudden currency reform, combined with the crisis, has resulted in unprecedented inflation, material shortages, and food scarcity. Especially in Havana, the situation feels chaotic. 🌟 Conclusion: - Our trip to Cuba can be described as outrageous, yet eye-opening. We will take time to reflect on and digest our experiences when we return to China. - If you're interested in Cuba, let us know in the comments! Would you like to watch videos of our Cuban adventure? 🎥🌴 🗣️ Have Your Say: - What does Cuba represent in your heart or in your personal experiences? San Francisco | Watching planes take off and land is my healing moment. ✈️

I always feel that people can better record the scale of life by perceiving their emotions and experiences every day. The repetitive nature of everyday life makes time seem to pass by too quickly. Traveling is the fastest way to escape from daily life, and the airport is a place where emotions can easily be magnified. The airport is probably my favorite place in the world. Taking off is accompanied by anticipation, while landing brings a sense of peace. Meeting or seeing off someone at the airport also involves stronger emotions. Occasionally, when I see a plane fly by on the road, it brings me joy. When I'm feeling down, I find solace in going to the park alone and watching planes take off and land. It is a truly therapeutic experience for me. I strongly agree with the life advice shared by others to maintain consistency in traveling. As soon as one trip ends, I start planning the next one. Watching planes take off and land, I wonder where I will go next on my next adventure. 🛫️ 📍**Bayfront Park** 1-99 Old Bayshore Hwy, Millbrae, CA 94030 👋 In addition to Bay Front Park in the photos, there are two other parks where you can get a close view of planes flying overhead: 📍**Coyote Point Recreation Area** 🚘Vehicle Entry $6 (thanks to the comment section for the suggestion) 1701 Coyote Point Dr, San Mateo, CA 94401 📍**Seal Point Park** 1901 J Hart Clinton Dr, San Mateo, CA 94401 #TravelJoy #AirportTherapy #SanFrancisco #BayArea #PlaneSpotting #HealingMoments #NatureAndPlanes #NextAdventure #Wanderlust #TravelGoals

back home after 14 months, but now what?

After 14 months of hopping from country to country, I finally dragged my suitcase back through my own front door. I’ve seen the sun rise over the temples in Cambodia, eaten street food in Istanbul that made my mouth water, and gotten lost in more markets than I can count. I even learned how to order coffee in three different languages—though, let’s be honest, it never tasted quite like the cup I get at my local diner. Now, I’m back in my own living room, staring at the same old wallpaper, and suddenly everything feels a little too familiar. The grocery store aisles are exactly where I left them, and my neighbors still wave from their porch, but it’s like I’m seeing it all with new eyes. I keep catching myself reaching for my passport, half-expecting to need it just to go out for milk. Here’s the thing: after all those adventures, I thought coming home would feel comforting, but instead, I’m a bit restless. Part of me misses the thrill of not knowing what’s around the next corner, and part of me is just happy to sleep in my own bed again. Has anyone else come back from a long trip and felt this weird mix of relief and letdown? I’m torn between wanting to relive the excitement and just enjoying the peace and quiet. And don’t get me started on how bland my cooking tastes now compared to what I had abroad! #travelstories #backhome #wanderlust #Travel

got lost in venice and felt like i stepped into a painting

We were wandering the narrow streets of Venice, just trying to find a little café everyone online kept raving about. After about 20 minutes of going in circles (and arguing over Google Maps), we turned a random corner and—bam!—the view looked straight out of an old oil painting. There was this tiny bridge, sunlight bouncing off the water, and even a gondolier singing in the distance. Honestly, it was so perfect I almost wondered if we’d stumbled onto a movie set. But here’s the thing: as beautiful as it was, we were still hopelessly lost, and my feet were killing me. Why is it that the most gorgeous places are always the hardest to navigate? Has anyone else ended up somewhere amazing just by getting lost? And do you think it’s worth all the wandering, or do you prefer sticking to a plan? Sometimes I feel like the best moments come from the biggest travel mishaps, but I can’t decide if that’s just me trying to make the best of being lost! #VeniceAdventures #TravelMishaps #Wanderlust #Travel
