Brothers Wedding - Feeling Torn About Being Best Man 💔
My brother is getting married, and he recently asked me to be his best man. Honestly, I don’t know how to feel. He’s wronged me multiple times in the past – the biggest being taking my business. He bought a new house, but never invited me to see it, even though when I bought mine, I showed him right away. He’s been distant, and now he only has me as best man and one friend as a groomsman, though he has other friends he could have chosen.
To top it off, he still owes me $168k. We’ve talked about it, but no progress has been made. And I don’t feel like he really wants me there.
I’ve recently started a new job, and I’m worried about taking time off and rescheduling my shifts. My family feels I should be there, but I’m struggling with whether I should just step back and say no. The situation is emotionally draining, and I feel conflicted.
