Bay Area | Lavender Farm Picks
In a blink of an eye, it's already June, the month lavender blossoms π . There are many places around the Bay Area to enjoy lavender. Among many farms, I've selected a few perfect for sightseeing and photo-taking.

What's special is that the lavender field is on a hillside, making the entire backdrop of your photos a sea of lavender.
π‘ Tickets are now available on the official website!
π° $20 per person, extended to 75 minutesβ¬οΈ More time for photos
π
The peak bloom period is usually late June or early July. Try to visit on a sunny day for more vibrant flowers.
βοΈTry to arrive early! There might be a wait for parking. Once it's time, you have to leave even if you were late.
β° There are no specific recommended times, as most are during direct sunlight.
π In such case, it's recommended to wear a cute straw hat as a prop or take photos against the light. Hats also provide sun protection.
There's a small shop on the farm selling lavender products. For example, lavender hand wash, lavender honey (I bought this and highly recommend it!).
βοΈI strongly recommend buying a bouquet of lavender flowers from the shop. It's a good prop for photos, and you can take it home and enjoy the fragrance for a long time.
π· Photography tips: Most people take photos in the aisle closest to the entrance or on the small platform after the staff's introduction.
βοΈ But you can walk a few more steps to the furthest uphill aisle from the entrance. Fewer people and more flowers make for better shots.

π The farm is exquisite. I love that there are shady trees to rest under when it's too sunny. The flower field is open 24 hours for free.
β Lavender is in full bloom, great for flower appreciation this weekend.
π The signature building is a cute little warehouse. They also host weddings and other events here.
You can take photos from different angles in the flower field.
