how did my indoor meyer lemon tree turn into a fruit factory?

My meyer lemon tree is absolutely showing off this winter. I brought it inside before the first frost, and now it’s loaded with lemons like it’s trying to win a contest. I keep it near a sunny window, and I mist the leaves every few days. I also make sure the soil stays just damp, not soggy. The craziest part? The whole room smells like fresh lemons.
