I’m so tired of shrinking myself.

Last week, I apologized four times in one meeting. For “interrupting,” even though I was asked to speak. For “talking too much,” though I barely got a full sentence in. For “not knowing the answer,” when I literally wasn't given the data. Then I went home and re-read Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. She wrote: “If you have yet to be called an incorrigible, defiant woman, don’t worry — there is still time.” That line hit like thunder. Because damn it — I am tired of shrinking. Of making myself smaller to be palatable. Of softening my voice to be liked. Of constantly explaining myself just to be taken seriously. 📖 This book reminded me: my wildness isn't the problem — it’s the source. I don’t want to be agreeable. I want to be whole. #Entertainment #Books #WomenEmpowerment

How I Became a True Girl’s Girl ❤️

Let’s be real—supporting other women just FEELS good! 🙌 Here’s how I try to be a girl’s girl every day (and why you should too): • I always hype up my girls with genuine compliments—brains, humor, style, you name it! • I NEVER gossip or tear down other women. Mean girl energy? Not for me! 🙅‍♀️ • I check in on friends when they’re down and offer help, even if it’s just a listening ear. • I celebrate women’s wins instead of competing. There’s room for all of us to shine! ✨ • I stand up against bullying and support women from ALL backgrounds—diversity matters! • I try to use language that uplifts, not insults. Words matter! • I consume and recommend media by women—gotta support our creators! Being a girl’s girl isn’t about hating men or being perfect. It’s about lifting each other up, being kind, and making the world a little better for every woman. We all deserve that. 💕 Let’s keep building each other up, one compliment and act of kindness at a time! #GirlsSupportingGirls #Sisterhood #WomenEmpowerment #Education

In my husband's eyes: I am a robot. I need to go to work, but I don't need to get paid.😡

Imagine working every day in your husband's business, crunching numbers, handling accounts, and yet, not seeing a single dollar in your own name. That's my reality. I'm 30, a mom of two little ones, and my 39-year-old husband insists I don't need to earn my own money. Instead, he gives me a 'living allowance'—just enough for basics, never enough for anything I actually want. If I want something extra, I have to send him my Amazon wish list like a kid asking for toys. He doesn't lift a finger at home, either. All the housework and childcare? That's on me. I feel trapped and powerless, like my own wants and needs don't matter. Is this normal? How do I get my own financial freedom without blowing up my family? Please, tell me I'm not alone in this! 😤😭 #FinancialIndependence #MarriageStruggles #WomenEmpowerment #FamilyConflict #RomanticRelationships
