The Suffocating Office Atmosphere​

The atmosphere in our office has become unbearable. Ever since a new colleague joined, it’s like the calm sea with hidden undercurrents beneath the surface. Previously, our workspace was relaxed. We’d chat, laugh, and have casual lunches and breaks. Even stepping out for a walk during work was common. But ever since the newbie arrived, everything changed. Suddenly, our small office felt like it had two bosses from different departments. We’re all scared to be late in the morning or leave early for lunch. The competition is so intense that we don’t even dare to take a break at noon. These past few weeks have been incredibly tough. The office is small, and the tension is thick.
