I jumped ship from a huge corporation, hoping for more growth and influence, but landed in a toxic mess. The dev team? Imagine high school bullies with job titles—mentors sending me on personal errands, seniors making me stand while they chatted, and the whole office giggling like it was comedy hour.
The worst part? Forming friendships was apparently a crime. My friends and I were told it was “bad for the team” to hang out after work. When we caught mentors lying to stir up drama, they brushed it off as a joke. The CEO, meanwhile, seems clueless—he’s always asking why people leave, and managers just blame us. Should I risk telling him the truth? Or is it pointless? I’m really struggling with what to do next. Any advice? 😓
