jharvey+FollowBat flip sparks big debate in NJ Little LeagueA 12-year-old Haddonfield player’s bat flip after a home run just got him suspended from the state finals, and parents are fired up. Some say the league’s decision is way too harsh—why punish a kid for celebrating a huge moment? Others argue rules are rules, and safety comes first. Even coaches are split: is this about teaching respect for the game, or are we sucking the fun out of kids’ sports? The judge’s decision on whether he can play is coming down to the wire. Where do you stand—should a joyful bat flip cost a kid his shot at the championship? #Sports #LittleLeague #YouthSports00Share
Eddie Deleon+FollowWhy Are We Still Debating Kids’ Sports?Just watched a group of young Primers play their hearts out on a gender-inclusive soccer team—no one cared about pronouns, just passing and having fun. Yet, with the Supreme Court set to rule on trans sports bans, the real rivalry isn’t on the field but in the courts and public opinion. Shouldn’t youth sports be about teamwork and joy, not politics? Curious how other fans feel about these bans and the future of inclusive teams. #Sports #YouthSports #Inclusion01Share
Stacey Hart+FollowSeeking Advice: My Daughter Wants to Quit Competitive Swim My 11-year-old daughter used to absolutely love competitive swimming. She'd practically beg to go to practice and was genuinely upset if we couldn't make it. In fact, right before summer, she even hit her first A time, which was a huge achievement for her Then summer hit. Our pool announced they'd be resurfacing, so practices moved to 6 AM at an alternate location (she usually practices at night). Between camps and travel, we ended up missing about a month of practice. Now, she's saying she wants to quit because she "doesn't like it anymore." My gut feeling is that this might be "summer laziness" talking – you know how breaks can sometimes make getting back into a routine tough. On the other hand, I really don't want to force her into something she genuinely doesn't enjoy. But she's pretty good, and I'd hate for her to throw it all away, especially after hitting that milestone. Has anyone else who swims or has kids in sports gone through a similar phase after a break? Need advice 🙏 #YouthSports #CompetitiveSwimming #ParentingDilemmas #Sports #Burnout #SeekingAdvice #Swimming 50Share
