Meet Cat, the dog! Cat is a 6 year old Shiba Inu looking for her forever home. She displays many of the signature characteristics of her breed. 🦊 Fox-like face with a fluffy coat. She is a petite girl, weighing only 17 lbs. 🌲 Loves to explore the outdoors. She has a high prey drive so leash and outdoor safety are extremely important. She enjoys small walks around the block. 💙 Loyal to her people. She follows her foster mom around from room to room. She is not a big snuggler but likes to curl up for a nap nearby. She also seeks out pets and likes to be held at times. 🙀 Signature Shiba Scream. Not much of a barker, the scream may come out when she gets overly excited or frightened. She has some sensitivity when initially putting on a collar/leash and will need someone who is patient with her while she continues to learn to trust. She does well with other dogs, but very playful dogs can be a little too much for her. ADOPTABLE DOG: SKY Sky was found abandoned with another dog and no one came to claim them. This beautiful girl is very sweet and social. Her foster says she gets along with other dogs and does not mind the cat. Sky is treat motivated, crate trained and housebroken as well. She loves to play, roll in the grass, walks well on a leash and has excellent recall. Meet Charlie 💔🐶 Charlie was purchased as a puppy when he was tiny and adorable. But as he grew older, his family decided they no longer had enough time for him and asked for him to be rehomed. Rollins — RETURNED TO THE SHELTER FOR LOVING TOO MUCH 💔 Yes… for loving too much. Rollins is just an 8-week-old Dachshund puppy who was returned to the shelter for one heartbreaking reason: she wanted to sleep too close to her human at night 🐶🛏️ That was it. He only a baby. He wasn’t aggressive. He didn’t destroy anything. He didn’t misbehave. His only “fault” was wanting warmth, comfort, and to feel safe beside the person she trusted 🤍 Now Rollins curls up alone on a small shelter bed—too young to understand why he is there. Another abandonment case… and it breaks our hearts. 💔 Meet Peanut. She’s only 10 weeks old, yet she has already experienced more neglect than any puppy ever should. Her previous owners failed to give her the time, care, and love she needed, and she was ultimately abandoned. They have since been charged, but Peanut is the one left carrying the emotional scars. Despite everything she’s been through, Peanut is still gentle, innocent, and hopeful. She’s learning what kindness feels like, one day at a time. What she needs now is a safe, patient, and loving home—someone who understands that trust takes time and that puppies like Peanut deserve a second chance, not another heartbreak. 📣📣GUESS WHO IS READY TO BE ADOPTED🥁🥁 Nora and Kora are both ready to find their forever families. These English Bulldog sisters are both 8 weeks and have cleft palates. They are eating and drinking on their own very well but will still need adopters who are committed to caring for a puppy with a cleft palate. That entails regular checks to make sure their clefts are clear and having a household that does not have small toys or things that can get wedged into their palate. For this reason we do not feel that these pup should be in families with young children due to choking hazards with their cleft palate.
