We have not been approached directly about this issue but she is now alleging we owe her half the cost of some fence repairs and staining. She says she and the previous owners agreed to a half and half split of maintaining it. Nothing of this sort was discussed with us at closing. For context the fence is two sided for most of their front yard. The only part of the fence that is on our side is our two gates. Once their back yard starts the fence becomes a shared fence separating our backyards. We have not seen any repairs on the fence in the three years we have lived here. I never wore sunblock, I drank too much caffeine, and I had a lot of health problems that were not helping. But in the last six months alone, the situation has gotten so much worse. Looking in the mirror just makes me feel so much regret and shame. While I know my value isn't based on my looks, it's hard to deal with feeling like people treat you differently in the world based on your perceived age. I have definitely started wearing sunblock now. I also wash my face with a gentle cleanser. But I'm feeling so skeptical of most products and treatments out there.
