why did my danica arborvitae turn yellow overnight? here’s my wild fix

Woke up one morning and my Danica arborvitae looked like it had a bad spray tan. Total panic mode. I thought I’d lost it for good. But then I remembered last week’s heatwave and how I’d skipped watering. Oops. I grabbed the hose and gave it a deep soak, making sure the roots got plenty of love. I also checked for any weird bugs and trimmed off the worst yellow bits. Within a week, the green started coming back. Now I always check the soil before watering and keep mulch around the base to lock in moisture. Watching those little green leaves bounce back made my whole week.
