why did my artichoke explode into a purple fireworks show?

I was just trying to grow some veggies, but my artichoke had other plans. Instead of picking it, I got distracted and left it alone. Next thing I knew, this wild purple flower burst out like it was showing off. I had no idea artichokes could look so cool if you let them go. Now, bees are obsessed with it. My garden feels way more alive. Turns out, letting some plants flower can attract pollinators and make your space pop with color. Plus, it’s way less work than harvesting every single thing.
