I’m so tired of shrinking myself.

Last week, I apologized four times in one meeting. For “interrupting,” even though I was asked to speak. For “talking too much,” though I barely got a full sentence in. For “not knowing the answer,” when I literally wasn't given the data. Then I went home and re-read Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. She wrote: “If you have yet to be called an incorrigible, defiant woman, don’t worry — there is still time.” That line hit like thunder. Because damn it — I am tired of shrinking. Of making myself smaller to be palatable. Of softening my voice to be liked. Of constantly explaining myself just to be taken seriously. 📖 This book reminded me: my wildness isn't the problem — it’s the source. I don’t want to be agreeable. I want to be whole. #Entertainment #Books #WomenEmpowerment

Kafka’s Work? More Like “How to Be a Disgruntled Employee”

🖋 Kafka | "The Trial" #ClearLiterature Still working this Saturday and seriously, Kafka deserves a shoutout. This guy really gets the work grind. "World kissed me with pain, and I died from it." Tell me that isn’t the motto of every tired office worker. But here’s the thing—Kafka was a true master of “productive procrastination.” Imagine a bunch of sick days stacked up with a request for a raise at the end of the year. This is the glow-up for all those “just let me lie down” vibes. Fun fact: The Kafka Museum in Prague has a whole display dedicated to his sick notes and requests for more pay. Even a literary genius needs a break, right? But don’t be fooled. The man was a true worker. Sure, he hated everything, but when it came to work, he gave it his all. Think: “I want to quit every day, but I still show up on time” — yeah, that’s me. Kafka, the original “workaholic who never gets a break.” 🔄 💬 #KafkaVibes: "The world is painful, but you show up anyway." The perfect mix of existential dread and corporate grind. 🖤 #Entertainment #Books #Kafka #CynicalLiterature #WorkGrind #DisgruntledEmployeeVibes #LiteraryGenius #FunnyBooks #LazyButProductive #MotivationFromKafka #SickLeaveKing

I’m craving a sci-fi story that truly blows my mind 🚀

(Like...spiritually.) I really love science fiction. (Even though I probably read more thrillers, lol.) But there's just something about that mind-bending, fourth-dimensional, space-time-shattering imagination that gets me every single time. Yes, I've seen the classics: Interstellar, Arrival, Gravity, Inception, Contact, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Martian, Memento... and I loved them. But they still don’t quite hit that deep craving I have for a fully fleshed-out future. I want details. I want to feel like I’ve walked inside a future city — ☁️ where buildings are grown like forests 📱 where clothes are digital 🚀 where space travel is daily life Not just metaphor — but full-on immersive world-building. I think that obsession started when I was a kid, reading about "virtual classrooms" and hearing adults say we’d be living on the moon by 2020. (Spoiler: that didn’t happen.) But the hope stuck with me. And now I just want a story that dares to imagine more. So — what sci-fi books or films truly made you believe in the future? Bonus points if it made your brain hurt (in a good way). #Entertainment #Books #SciFiDreams #SpeculativeFiction

Virginia Woolf Was Right About the Room

“A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction.” — Virginia Woolf, A Room of One’s Own When I first read this in college, I thought she meant literally a room. Now I know: she meant space. Not just physical, but mental, emotional, intellectual. She meant: space to think without interruption. Space to write without guilt. Space to exist without justification. Every time I try to write, to think, to create, and I hear that internal voice saying “this isn’t important,” I think of Woolf. She knew how revolutionary it was for women to claim time and space for themselves. And in 2025, we’re still fighting for it. 🖋 If you’re a woman trying to carve out your own space — you’re not alone. And you’re doing something radical. #Entertainment #Books #VirginiaWoolf

The Hunger Games or Our Reality?

Suzanne Collins’s The Hunger Games shows a society divided—where the rich feast while the poor starve, and the powerless are forced to fight each other for survival and entertainment. It’s a brutal metaphor for modern inequality. Look around: skyrocketing wealth gaps, systemic racism, political apathy. Districts oppressed, citizens distracted by spectacle and fear—doesn’t that feel uncomfortably close? It’s not just a YA novel; it’s a mirror reflecting how far some societies have drifted. The Capitol’s grip isn’t just fiction—it’s about how power controls resources, narratives, and ultimately, people’s lives. This book reminds me how dangerous complacency is and how much rebellion grows in silent corners. #Entertainment #Books #SocialInequality
