Why Does Helping Mom Feel Like a Full-Time Job? 😅

Every time I walk into our living room, it's like a tornado hit—books, shoes, and random socks everywhere. My mom is always rushing around, barely catching her breath between work and chores. I try to help by picking up my stuff, but somehow, the mess multiplies overnight. Last week, I decided to set the table before dinner, thinking it would make things easier. Instead, I spilled water everywhere and broke a plate. My mom just sighed and said, "It's the thought that counts," but I could tell she was exhausted. Sometimes I wonder if my efforts really help or just add to her stress. Do you ever feel like no matter how much you do, it's never enough? I wish I knew the secret to making things better at home. Tell me, have you ever felt stuck trying to help your family? Let's talk about it—maybe we can figure it out together. 🫶 #FamilyLife #HelpingMom #Chores #RealTalk #FamilyRelationships

is it fair my boyfriend ignores my 2-hour commute when splitting chores?

My boyfriend and I both work full-time, but my commute is almost two hours each way. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted, but he still expects me to do half the chores. He works from home and has way more free time, but he says it’s only fair to split everything 50/50. I’ve tried explaining that my commute is draining and leaves me with barely any energy. He just says that’s my choice and doesn’t see why it should affect our chore split. I’m starting to feel like he doesn’t appreciate how much I’m juggling. Has anyone else dealt with this? How do you get your partner to see your side when it comes to dividing up responsibilities? I love him, but this is really starting to wear me down. #relationships #commute #chores #relationshipadvice #RomanticRelationships
