Meet Pineapple, affectionately known as Birdie! This adorable 5-year-old Shih Tzu is looking for a foster-to-adopt home while she completes her remaining vetting, including her spay and dental appointment later this summer.
Birdie is a happy, curious little girl who loves to know what’s going on around her. Whether she’s greeting new visitors, peeking out the car window on an adventure, or investigating something interesting in the yard, she’s always eager to check things out. One of her favorite things is spending time outside exploring a securely fenced yard.
She is a great eater, settles nicely in a kennel when needed, and has recently discovered that cuddling and sleeping in bed with her people and foster siblings is pretty wonderful. Birdie is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys being part of the family.
She has not yet learned long walk leash-walking skills but does well mingling at the vet with her leash on. Birdie has not met any cats or young children, but her easygoing and friendly personality suggests she may do well with both.
