Lost Dog Reunites With Me at Random Park
my dog vanished last summer. Posters, late-night walks, the whole nine yards—nothing. Fast forward to today, I’m dragging myself through a new park (because running is cheaper than therapy), and guess who barrels out of the bushes? My dog, looking like he’s been living his best feral life. He spots me, does this weird yelp-bark combo, and sprints over like we’re in a slow-mo movie montage. I’m not crying, you’re crying.
Turns out, he’d been hanging around the area, charming snacks off strangers and apparently learning how to open chip bags. We both just sat there, him wagging, me ugly-crying, and I swear, every bad day from the past year evaporated.
If you’ve lost a pet, don’t give up. Miracles (and muddy dogs) happen when you least expect it.
