This is literally the only way I make chicken now because I'm terrible at remembering complex recipes. Pat your chicken thighs dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder Heat up a cast iron skillet with some olive oil until it's smoking hot Sear the chicken skin-side down for about 5 minutes until it's golden Flip it over and throw the whole pan in a 400°F oven for 20 minutes That's it. No fancy marinades, no complicated steps. The skin gets crispy, the meat stays juicy, and I can set a timer and forget about it.
