did my parents really ditch my baby's birth for a vacation?

I’m feeling super lost right now. My parents just told me they’re going on a cruise the same week my baby is due. This is my first child, and I always pictured them being there to support me. Instead, they’re choosing a trip over meeting their grandchild. I can’t help but feel hurt and kind of abandoned. I tried telling them how much it would mean to have them close, but they said the trip was already planned and paid for. I get that people need to live their lives, but I thought family came first, especially for big moments like this. Am I overreacting? How do I deal with this disappointment? I want to talk to them about how I feel, but I’m worried it’ll just make things worse. Has anyone else been through something like this?
