am i selfish ？
I’m really struggling right now. I don’t think she’s doing anything “wrong,” but I can’t shake the feeling that I’m just not a priority. I’ve told her before that I don’t feel loved or cared for enough, and while she apologizes and says she’ll try to be a better partner, nothing changes. It’s exhausting.
I’ve opened up to her about my personal struggles, including some trauma I’ve been dealing with that makes physical touch hard for me at times. She says she understands, but even with that, I don’t feel like she’s making the effort to show me she cares.
Instead, I feel like she’s more invested in her friends and family than in our relationship. I try to remind myself it’s not about comparing attention, but it’s hard not to feel neglected. Recently, I even started questioning if I even like her anymore. It’s getting to the point where I’m asking myself: am I just a burden?
I don’t want to be unfair to her, but I can’t keep pretending like everything’s fine. Should I leave, or am I overreacting?
