I hunt to eat, not to profit

Anyone else hunt primarily for the table? Don't get me wrong, I love the chase and the time outdoors, but honestly, most of my protein comes from what I harvest. It's definitely not about money - good gear ain’t cheap, and I don’t sell what I take. But there's something satisfying about filling the freezer with venison I caught myself.
