Prophecy Fulfilled: The Life of Yeshua (Jesus) – Episode 4 “The Mountain and the Multitudes”

Setting the Stage The months after Cana carried Yeshua back to Galilee, under the watchful rule of Herod Antipas. The Sea of Galilee bustled with fishermen mending their nets, Roman toll booths lined the trade routes, and synagogues filled each Sabbath with Scripture readings. The Gospels condense these days quickly, but step by step, the Teacher was gathering followers, healing the sick, and revealing the Kingdom foretold by the prophets. ⸻ By the lakeshore, He called ordinary men into extraordinary lives. To James and John, the sons of Zebedee, and to Levi the tax collector, His summons was the same: “Follow Me” (Mark 1:17; 2:14 NKJV). They left boats, nets, even coin tables behind. Isaiah had once promised that those who sat in darkness would see a great light (Isaiah 9:2). That light now walked among them. Crowds pressed in from every village. Mothers carried fevered children. Friends lowered the paralyzed through rooftops. To the outcast leper, Yeshua stretched out His hand: “I am willing; be cleansed” (Mark 1:41 NKJV). To a man whose sins weighed heavier than his sickness: “Son, your sins are forgiven you” (Mark 2:5 NKJV). The religious leaders gasped at such authority, but the people glorified God. Then Yeshua climbed a hillside overlooking the sea. They gathered around Him, fishermen and farmers, women and children, Roman soldiers listening at the edges. He sat, as teachers did, and opened His mouth: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven… Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:3–4 NKJV). Every word carried the weight of promise and prophecy. Isaiah had spoken of the One anointed to bring good news to the poor and bind up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1). On that mountain, under the wide Galilean sky, the Servant of the LORD was doing exactly that. ✝️ CONTINUED IN COMMENTS ⬇️⬇️⬇️ #Bible #God #Jesus #BibleStudy #Help #Christian #Christ #BooksoftheBible

Seeing Through the Lens of God: Jesus is the Prescription

Every one of us views life through a lens. For some, it’s shaped by pain, by what they’ve lost, or by what the world says is valuable. For others, it’s colored by ambition, fear, or even pride. The lens through which we see the world determines how we respond to it — whether with hope or despair, forgiveness or bitterness, truth or deception. For me, it was a lens of rejection. But here’s the reality: our natural vision is flawed. Just like eyes that can’t quite focus on their own, our spiritual sight is clouded by sin and selfishness. Left unchecked, that blurred vision leads us to stumble, misunderstand God’s love, and miss the eternal perspective. The good news? God has given us the perfect prescription: Jesus Christ. Through Him, the blurred edges of life come into focus. The things that once didn’t make sense — suffering, forgiveness, love that doesn’t keep score — are suddenly seen with clarity. Jesus Himself said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). When we put on the lens of Christ, we begin to see people not as problems, but as souls worth saving. We see trials not as cruel punishments, but as opportunities for God’s glory to shine through. We see ourselves not as failures or forgotten, but as children deeply loved by the Creator. Here’s the heart of it: God sees us with perfect love and perfect justice. Where we see brokenness, He sees potential. Where we see shame, He sees a child worth redeeming. His love is not blind—it is holy, just, and completely pure. And yet through Christ, His justice and His mercy meet at the cross, bringing us back into His embrace. 👓 CONTINUED IN COMMENTS ⬇️⬇️⬇️ #Bible #God #Jesus #BibleStudy #Help #Christian #Christ #BooksoftheBible

Who Is Jesus? Answering Questions, Debunking Myths

Jesus of Nazareth is not a myth, not a legend, and certainly not a unicorn. He was a real man in history, known in Hebrew as Yeshua bar Yosef—“Jesus, son of Joseph.” He was born in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth, and worked with His hands as a builder. But the records show He was far more than an ordinary man. Around the age of thirty, Jesus began a public ministry that shook the ancient world. He healed the sick, restored sight to the blind, cast out demons, and taught with an authority that astonished crowds. He called people to repentance and declared the coming Kingdom of God. His teachings—love your enemies, forgive freely, care for the poor—challenged the norms of the day. But His claim to be the Son of God placed Him in direct conflict with the religious leaders. They accused Him of blasphemy, while Roman authorities feared His growing influence. Jesus was betrayed, arrested, and put on trial. He was scourged, mocked, and forced to carry a cross to the place of execution. Crucifixion was Rome’s most brutal punishment, and Jesus endured it in full view of the city. And yet, three days later, His tomb was found empty. His followers proclaimed they had seen Him alive again. Their message spread across the Roman world, transforming lives and turning fearful fishermen into bold witnesses willing to die for their testimony. Historical Evidence Outside the Bible Even non-biblical sources confirm key details: • Tacitus, a Roman historian, wrote that “Christus…suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of Pontius Pilate.” • Josephus, a first-century Jewish historian, described Jesus as a wise man who performed “wonderful works” and noted His crucifixion. • Pliny the Younger, a Roman governor, recorded that early Christians gathered regularly to worship Christ “as to a god.” ✝️ CONTINUED IN COMMENTS ⬇️⬇️⬇️ #Bible #God #Jesus #BibleStudy #Help #Christian #Christ
