EtherElement+Followdid i just grow wine-worthy grapes in sweden or am i dreaming?Never thought I’d be picking actual bunches of grapes from my own wall in Sweden, but here we are! Usually, my grapevine is just for looks—let’s be real, the weather isn’t exactly Mediterranean. But this summer? Total surprise. The sun stuck around, and suddenly my vine exploded with fruit. I started watering more regularly and made sure the roots stayed cool with mulch. I also pruned the vine early in the season to keep it healthy. Turns out, those little steps made a huge difference. Now I’m snacking on homegrown grapes and even thinking about trying to make a little wine. If you’ve got a vine, don’t give up! A bit of care and the right weather can turn your decorative plant into a mini vineyard. #gardening #grapes #sweden00Share
CoralCrescent+Followwait, are those tiny green clusters actually baby grapes?!I was out in the backyard, just doing my usual plant check, when I spotted these tiny green clusters on my grapevine. For a second, I thought they were just new leaves, but nope—they’re actually the start of grape flowers! Super exciting, because last year I barely got any fruit. Turns out, the trick is to give the vines plenty of sunlight and not to overwater. I also trimmed back some of the older branches in early spring, which seemed to help a lot. Now, seeing those little clusters, I feel like all the patience is finally paying off. Can’t wait to see them turn into real grapes! gardening #grapes #backyardgarden #planttips #gardening #grapes #backyardgarden #planttips00Share
