A plant killer’s journey into the world of green thumbs 🌿
So, turns out, aging really does make you appreciate plants. From killing every poor plant in sight to now successfully repotting a monstera—I'm honestly proud of myself! Here’s what I’ve learned:
🌱 All these plants were from Home Depot (seriously, that place is a goldmine).
🌱 For the monstera (aka turtle back), if the leaves are small and not splitting, repotting might help. Remove any leaves with no new growth.
🌱 I use Miracle-Gro’s tropical potting mix for most plants. Sometimes I mix it with the indoor version if I run out (still going strong after a month).
🌱 Don’t go overboard with soil or pot size, or you risk drowning the roots!
🌱 For fertilizer, I just use an all-purpose liquid fertilizer—easy peasy.
🌱 Also, I’ve got the Click & Grow smart garden for growing veggies and flowers. It’s super handy!
