Thought it’d be manageable. Then the bill came. $1,000 per session ($318 per 15 minutes), and my high-deductible insurance barely covered 10%. 😩 Called the hospital? “Billing is correct, blame insurance.” Called insurance? “That’s just your plan, take it up with the hospital.” Emailed billing to match their own website’s uninsured rate ($112 per 15 min).
