Jennifer Russell+FollowIKEA Kitchen Remodel That Only Cost 9KMy husband and I just bought our very first fixer-upper house, and the kitchen needed a major, major overhaul. We decided to go with IKEA for all the cabinets. Then we got everything else, like appliances and counters, from places like Home Depot and Lowe's. And the total cost for everything, including the labor to put it all together. It came out to just 9,000 bucks. #KitchenRemodel #Renovation #IKEA #BudgetTalk #FixerUpper #HomeImprovement #DIYHome #MoneySavingTips #HomeRenovation #FirstHome 01Share

Thomas Woods+FollowIt’s always right to listen to your wife 😂😂 Just an observation. My wife got us a smart bulb for our bedroom lamp. I thought it was totally unnecessary, like I always resisted her "little adjustments" around the house. But a few days later, I found it incredibly useful. It slowly brightens over 20 minutes before my alarm, making me feel much more awake when it goes off, instead of like a patient being jarringly shocked back to life in the dark. It's actually made my mornings much more energetic for work. It's just surprising how a small addition to your home can make such a big difference 😂😂 you wonder how you ever lived without it And then there's this other thing. Our light switch to the basement is installed upside down. Infuriating, right? Wrong! When you're going down the stairs with a basket of laundry, a downward motion turns the lights on. Coming up with a basket, an upward motion turns them off. It just works naturally. Genius #SmartHome #HomeTech #MarriageAdvice #LifeHacks #HomeImprovement #Home 10Share

Ernest Harris+FollowWhat to know before replacing your windowsSpending thousands on new windows should mean better comfort and lower bills, but sometimes the results just aren’t what you expect. One local homeowner is still frustrated after a $9,500 window upgrade left her with crooked frames and gaps. Even after multiple follow-ups and a $1,000 goodwill offer, she’s not satisfied. If you’re thinking about new windows, always compare companies, double-check warranty details, and don’t pay everything up front. And if energy savings are your goal, look for both Energy Star and NFRC labels—those numbers matter! Joseph Norris+FollowTheir floating vanity fell off the wall 😱😱😱😱But the 1950s desk fix is genius! (Swipe left to see the final result) Just saw a renovation that really caught my eye. Apparently, the original floating vanity in this bathroom literally fell right off the wall! The owner mentioned it was only held up by six drywall anchors with no studs, which sounds incredibly unsafe! Fortunately, they repurposed a vintage 1950s desk and turned it into a stunning, one-of-a-kind vanity. The final result is truly impressive. 😊👍 It's a good reminder to always double-check how things are mounted, especially in places like the bathroom. But honestly, talk about turning a potential disaster into a beautiful design triumph!! #HomeDIY #VintageVibes #BathroomRenovations #HomeImprovement #Home 00Share
