Baklava Bliss Alert!

Never thought I’d actually pull off homemade baklava, but wow, it’s totally worth the effort. The kitchen smelled like honey and toasted nuts for hours, and every bite is this crazy combo of flaky, sticky, crunchy, and sweet. I used pistachios and walnuts, and I think the hardest part was waiting for it to cool down before digging in. If you’ve only ever had store-bought, you’re missing out—making it at home just hits different. Definitely adding this to my list of special occasion treats.
