When will Prince William become king?

Despite being diagnosed with cancer last year, King Charles continues to carry out his royal duties without showing any signs of slowing down. Given his health condition, it appears the monarch intends to remain on the throne until his final breath, following in the footsteps of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II. Charles became king of the United Kingdom the moment his mother died at the age of 96 in September 2022. Similarly, when King Charles passes away, Operation Menai Bridge will be activated for the funeral and succession plan for King Charles. Charles waited almost 74 years to become king, which was longer than any previous heir. Less than two years after becoming the king, Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024. Prince William is unlikely to wait as much as his father did to become the king. In the event of King Charles' death, the UK would activate Operation Menai Bridge, a secret plan named after a Welsh bridge. Prince William will immediately become the king and he would address the nation without any delay. The country would plunge into mourning and Charles' body would be moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall to lie in state. Nine days later a grand state funeral would take place before Charles is laid to rest at Windsor Castle. The UK would prepare for King William's coronation and money and stamps would be reprinted with his face. Kate Middleton would officially become queen and Prince George would step into the role of heir to the throne. #PrinceHarry #PrinceWilliam #king #KingCharles #WilliamVsHarry #RoyalPolitics #Monarchy #RoyalExcuses #news #trending #Royals #RoyalTea

Harry Meghan upset Charles urged major decision

Writing for Daily Mail Australia, Sharon Hunt said the British Royal Family might follow the example of Denmark’s Queen Margrethe, who removed the titles of four of her grandchildren in 2022 to modernise the monarchy without causing a rift. She further noted that the move would likely upset the Duke and Duchess of Sussex but it could help avoid bigger problems in the future. Hunt said stripping Archie and Lilibet’s titles will likely cause "backlash and upset from Harry and Meghan,” While the situations are certainly not identical, it would bear consideration for William to advocate that his father follow Margrethe's example by being the one to make the decision on Archie and Lilibet's royal titles while still the reigning monarch,” she penned. “In the short term, blowback is to be expected. Harry will likely be upset," the expert added. #KingCharles #king #MeghanMarkle #MeghanAndKate #KateMiddleton #news #trending

Kate 'ONE' guilt turns into sweet gift Charlotte

Speaking to The Sun, royal biographer Ingrid Seward shared: 'Kate felt guilty she had not been able to spend as much time as she would have liked to be with the kids because of her exhaustion after her treatment.' During the appearance, young Princess Charlotte was praised by body language expert Judi James, who described her as Kate's 'wing-girl.' Speaking to The Mirror: 'Charlotte is still showing signs of being her mother's wing-girl. She is now grown up enough to walk independently beside or behind her mother, with Kate only performing a small, loving loving touch on the back to bring her forward for her handshakes,' reports Gloucestershire Live. Wimbledon kicked off this Monday and will run through Sunday, July 13. #katemaiddleton #Royals #newa #trending #king #PrinceWilliam

Sarah Ferguson makes bold decision Prince Andrew

However, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie's mother politely declined to arrive via carriage with the royal family, "apparently to spare the feelings of her ex-husband." Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles and patronages by the late Queen after his association with Jeffrey Epstein, was not included in the royal procession. "Andrew, who loved the pomp of the procession, was allowed at the pre-racing lunch but banned from attending the racing," Hardcastle added. Having long been absent from royal events over the years, Ferguson was welcomed back into the fold by King Charles, who included her in the traditional Christmas walk to church in 2023 after not being invited since the '90s. #PrinceAndrew #SarahFerguson #Royals #News #trending #king

Prince Harry 'very concerned' about Kate Middleton

The royal sources further said, “He knows she’s the type to put on a brave face no matter what she’s going through, so of course he's very concerned." The future queen sparked concerns by skipping the annual Royal Ascot horse racing event, four days after the future queen appeared on the Palace balcony for Trooping the Color alongside husband Prince William and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. According to the publication, the Princess of Wales was initially cited in the carriage list for Ascot's Royal Procession on June 18, but her absence was announced at the 11th hour. The insiders have disclosed that Kate was "disappointed” to miss Royal Ascot, but “has to find the right balance as she fully returns to public facing duties." The source tells the media outlet, the Princess of Wales "knows she should not overdo things," adding, "Things have not been plain sailing." #princeharry #KateMiddleton #king #queen #royals #trending #PrinceWilliam #MeghanAndKate

Andrew throws William, King Charles into jeopardy

And given that Prince William is the heir, “he won’t and can’t risk public association with such a disastrous member of the family who merely serves as a distraction from public duty.” Even “[King Charles is pleased] William has taken such a dutiful, dedicated approach to the monarchy,” Ms Fordwich admitted. After all Prince William is “not the playboy of many past Princes of Wales, ancestors of his who didn’t either take the role seriously and/or were defined by debauchery.” All in all he “is unwavering in his determination to keep Andrew permanently sidelined from royal life, including being excluded from the recent major ceremonies Garter Day and Trooping the Colour.” #king #PrinceWilliam #kate #princeharry #kingcharles #queen #royals #news #trending #princeandrew
