😔 #Trauma leaves a mark, and it's not about "closure" or erasing the past. It's about learning to live with it, carrying it! Trauma doesn't just disappear. There's no #magic eraser, no switch to flip. You don't "get over it" or "move on." You #learn to #live with it, navigate around it, and sometimes, you just have to carry it!!!! I #choose to face it... carry it and deal with it 👉 The world might say "find closure," but what's that even mean? It is a lie ... It's a myth, a fantasy. Trauma stays with us, a constant hum in the background. You might cover it up, deny it, or try to outrun it, but it's still there. Courtrooms, police stations, doctor's offices – they all spout "closure" like it's a thing. But it's #not 🚫 It's a word that doesn't apply. Trauma is #forever. It's learning to coexist with it, not erase it. We aren't broken, and we don't need fixing. We are not our trauma 👉 We need space to breathe, to process, to feel. Your trauma is #valid, and it's okay to carry it. #youareamazing #wegotthistogether #WeGotThis #TraumaIsNotClosure #LearningToLiveWithIt #howtolivewithpain #howcanihelp 🙏🙏🙏

“Pops, Mom — Your Son Is in the Hall of Fame”: Dwight Howard’s Emotional Tribute

Dwight Howard’s 2025 Basketball Hall of Fame induction was full of powerful moments—but none more touching than his tribute to his parents. “Pops, Mom — your son is in the Hall of Fame.” This heartfelt shoutout encapsulates the emotional core of his journey—from carrying dreams into reality to honoring the ones who believed in him first. Howard also reflected on his legacy with the Orlando Magic ahead of the ceremony, saying: “I just want to say thank you,” emphasizing the vital role the Magic community and Orlando fans played in his rise. All told, this wasn’t just a celebration of an incredible career—8-time All-Star, 3× Defensive Player of the Year, NBA champion, and rebounding legend—it was a tribute to family, gratitude, and the long path behind him. #DwightHoward #HallOfFame #NBA #Magic #BasketballFamily #Sports #NBAChampion #DPOY #NBALegends
