ian15+FollowLet’s Talk: Love Movies That Hit Harder LaterSome love flicks hit you like “yeah, that was alright,” then three days later they’re still squatting in your brain rent-free. ian15+FollowDebate|Should Biopics That Lie Be Called Out?Let’s be real—most of us watch biopics to learn something about a person or a major event. Even if it’s dramatized a bit, we still assume the core story is true, right? But what if it’s not? Take Hotel Rwanda. It made Paul Rusesabagina look like Africa’s Schindler—a hero who saved lives during genocide. But later, survivors accused him of extortion, and he was even sentenced for terrorism-related charges (later released). Turns out, many people in that hotel were hostages caught in political negotiation—not saved because of his bravery. So… If a “true story” movie twists facts that much, does it still deserve to be called a biopic? And if the audience only felt moved because they were misled—is that emotion even real? Have you seen any other “based on true events” films that turned out to be totally off? Drop the names 👇 #Entertainment #movie #filmdebate #biopic #historyvsdrama #HotelRwanda #moviethoughts60Share
ian15+FollowSorry but The Legend of 1900 just doesn’t hit.Watched the full uncut version — three hours of my life, and I didn’t even skip a second. And when the credits rolled? I was stunned. Like, that’s it? Dude just… never got off the boat. Saw a city and got scared. Spent his whole life hesitating and then poof — chose to stay behind and die? What exactly are we supposed to take from this? “Stay where it’s safe”? “Don’t try new things”? Sorry, I don’t get the hype. It’s giving beautiful soundtrack, weak message. #Entertainment #movie #TheLegendOf1900 #HotTake #NotForMe #MovieOpinions #FilmDebate #SorryNotSorry40Share
ian15+FollowHighly recommend this female-directed teen movie Booksmart!Honestly, it’s the best teen movie I’ve seen this year! It reminded me a bit of The Edge of Seventeen—super cute and super touching. I laughed so hard and cried like crazy too. When the two girls argued and said goodbye, I totally lost it. Their friendship felt so real and raw. Major respect to the female director for making high school look this adorable and friendships this heartfelt. Ahhhh!! #Entertainment #movie#Booksmart #teenmovie #femaledirector21Share
ian15+FollowAlright, gotta tell you about my top 5 Sono films — they’re wild but so good!Sono’s this Japanese director who’s kinda crazy in the best way. His movies go all out with bold visuals, family drama, and some weird dark humor. Honestly, his style is kinda strange, but that’s exactly why I’m hooked. Here are my faves from him: 1. Love Exposure — totally nuts, but also kinda touching 2. Strange Circus — like a mind trip on steroids 3. Noriko’s Dinner Table — creepy vibes, but I actually like it 4. Cold Fish — bloody but with a weirdly funny twist 5. Guilty of Romance — super dark and intense Honestly, I don’t usually watch stuff like this, but Sono’s films mess with your head in the best way. You’ll wanna watch, then feel like your brain’s scrambled. Give ’em a try sometime — you’ll probably hate it and love it at the same time! #Entertainment #movie recs #Japanese director #cultfilms30Share
ian15+FollowLowkey? I liked Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy way more than Drive My Car 😮💨🎥Same director, but shorter and hits quicker. It’s three little stories — kinda random, kinda awkward, super human. Stuff like: messing with your ex, totally misreading a situation, running into someone and thinking “wait… do I know you??” No drama, no big plot twists, just real-life vibes. I watched it thinking “eh, I’ll give it 10 minutes” and then somehow I was in my feelings by the end lol. It’s that type of movie where nothing huge happens but you feel seen. Like yeah… people are messy. It is what it is. #Entertainment #movie #movierecommend00Share
gabriel63+FollowCome on bro😅😅😅Just trying to snag tickets for "The Odyssey" and found out the shows in IMAX 70mm at Universal CityWalk Hollywood for July 16th (2026!!) were nearly sold out, literally three minutes since tickets went on sale 😅😅😅 I'd absolutely love to experience this film in IMAX, but I am NOT about to start buying movie tickets a year in advance just to get a decent seat. Please tell me this isn't going to become a regular trend, or three years from now I'll complain about how i have to book movies 2 years in advance 🙄 #TheOdyssey #IMAX70mm #MovieTickets #SoldOut #UniversalCityWalk #Hollywood #FilmFrustrations #Movie #MovieLovers #ChristopherNolan 00Share
