Having a Blast in Castro Valley - Boating⛵, Bowling🎳, and Wineries🍷

Let's talk about the fun places to go in Castro Valley today! Plan to go boating⛵, bowling🎳, and visit a winery🍷! The day will be well balanced with relaxation and joy, without any stress. This itinerary is totally worth following! 📍Lake Chabot Regional Park 17600 Lake Chabot Rd, Castro Valley, CA 94546 First stop: Lake Chabot Park, perfect for hiking, boating, fishing, picnicking, and dog walking! Cost: *Parking $5, dogs $2, and people are free! *Pedal boat $28/hr, sits four people! You can rent a boat starting at 9:30 AM, and it's nice to paddle from 10:00-11:00 AM. The earlier, the better, because it can get pretty sunny in the afternoon. Don't forget your sunscreen if you don't want to tan! Briefly about the Lake Chabot, it's a man-made reservoir dug by Chinese laborers a century ago! Salute to our ancestors who literally paved the way! 📍Castro Village Bowl 3501 Village Dr, Castro Valley, CA 94546 Second stop: Castro Village Bowling Alley, less crowded and reasonably priced, opens at noon! Cost: *Rental shoes $5/person *Bowling $5/game I suggest playing three games, each with ten rounds. Playing three games for a group of three would take about 2 hours! There's a restaurant in the alley, and the grilled cheeseburger is just okay. If you're not picky, you can have lunch there to save some time for the next stop! 📍Westover Winery 34329 Palomares Rd, Castro Valley, CA 94552 Third stop: Westover Winery, open 12:00-5:00, only on the weekends! Cost: *Wine tasting is free *Buying wine $20~$30 It's a small private winery hidden deep in the mountains, with super friendly and knowledgeable owners! I highly recommend their fruity white wine, the Port series is so good, even for someone like me who doesn't drink much! Best sellers are Apricot, Orange, and Cherry flavors, $27/bottle, with the Apricot flavor being the bomb! Conclusion: Three-stop itinerary from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM, enjoy life! #CastroValleyFun #LakeChabotPark #BoatingAdventure #CastroVillageBowling #WineryVisit #WeekendFun #OutdoorActivities #RelaxationAndJoy
