did i really grow pineapples from kitchen scraps in my yard?

A couple years back, I tossed a pineapple top into my garden, thinking it would just break down with the rest of my compost. I didn’t expect much. But I left it alone, watered the area when I remembered, and let the sun do its thing. Fast forward to today—I’m holding two fresh pineapples that grew right where I tossed that top. Turns out, you don’t need fancy skills or a green thumb. Just a bit of patience and a sunny spot. If you ever cut up a pineapple, don’t throw away the top.
