Bills, health anxiety, family stress—it literally feels like there’s an army surrounding my house trying to take me down. Then I opened up 2 Kings 6. Elisha’s servant wakes up, looks out the window, and panics because a literal enemy army has surrounded their city. But Elisha doesn't flinch. He just prays, "Lord, open his eyes." Suddenly, the servant sees that the hills are entirely covered with horses and chariots of literal, blazing fire. The enemy army was completely surrounded by God’s special forces. We get so blinded by the physical problems right in front of us that we forget the overwhelming spiritual artillery God has stationed around us. You are not fighting alone today.
