trading my 7 mag for a 308 this fall 🤔

After years with the 7 mag, I'm honestly tired of the brutal recoil and ear-splitting report. Way overpowered for most of my shots anyway. Switching to .308 for versatility - can run suppressed with subs for close work or standard loads for longer shots. Reality is I’ve never had an ethical hunting shot past 400 yards anyway, and my hunting trips aren't as frequent as they used to be. Feels like the right move for where I’m at now.
