Laura Carlson+FollowMy grandpa passed away. Can anyone help me identify his tattoo? My incredible grandpa passed away recently at the age of 85. I'm so grateful my grandma took a picture of his tattoo before he passed because for whatever reason, I never asked him about it. It's got a banner with his name, EDWIN, and as a kid I always thought it was some kind of leopard. The only story he told about it was that he got it to cover up a crude "LOVE MOM" cross he had done himself when he was a kid. I believe this was done sometime between 1954 and 1965. In that time, he was a railroad switchman and a long-haul trucker. He was also a total badass who rode motorcycles. I don't know anything about tattoo styles, but I would love to know more about this. If anyone has an idea about what this is or what the style might be, I would be so grateful. #FamilyHistory #FamilyRelationships #FamilyStories #HelpNeeded #Tattoos #Skin 791904Share
Chelsea Murray+FollowWhat are we looking at here? 😂I don't know... He says it's the Sword of Milo's (Dung Eater questline) in front of the Darksign from Dark Souls... I don't know... Maybe it's the sword that will cut the possibility of him ever getting a girlfriend. 😂 Maybe finding some inspiration to fill out the chest area and reduce negative space would be nice. Laura Carlson+FollowThis Tattoo Has Been Living in My Head Rent-Free For Years 🤩I saw this photo of a tattoo years ago and I have not stopped thinking about it since. The thing is, the tattoo is a mermaid. I am not a big fan of mermaids or aquatic creatures so the design itself does not hold much meaning to me. It feels wrong to get a tattoo of something that I do not feel a connection to. I am hoping someone out there can help me brainstorm. What are some unique things this style could be applied to? #TattooAdvice #TattooDesign #TattooIdeas #TattooHelp #TattooStyle #Artist #Discussion #Creative #Tattoos #SkinStory 6034Share

Holly Gonzalez+FollowTexas dad stands his ground over tattoosA Texas dad’s refusal to cover his tattoos at his son’s school has the whole town talking. After moving from Seattle, he quickly realized his long hair and ink didn’t fit the local mold. When a teacher demanded he hide his tattoos for pick-up and drop-off, he pushed back—pointing out none were offensive, just visible. The principal backed him up, clarifying the dress code only applies to staff and students. This story has sparked a huge debate online about acceptance, small-town attitudes, and where we draw the line on personal expression. Would you have done the same? #Relationships #Texas #Tattoos21Share
Ryan Lewis+FollowTattoos & Cancer? What You Need to KnowTurns out, your ink might be riskier than you thought. New research from Sweden and Denmark links tattoos—especially big or black ones—to higher risks of lymphoma and skin cancer. The ink doesn’t just stay on your skin; it travels to your lymph nodes and can mess with your immune system. Even laser removal could make things worse! If you’re inked, keep an eye out for weird skin changes and maybe chat with your doc. Who knew self-expression could come with this kind of baggage? #Tattoos #HealthNews #CancerRisk #Health7117Share

rogerwilliams+FollowIt's Not a Hair Transplant, It's a Hair Tattoo for a Natural Look (but if you're already bald??I was just looking at some before and after photos of scalp micropigmentation. It's basically a hair tattoo to give you a natural looking hairline even though you are bald. It looks really great in the photo. But it just seems like a lot of work for a look you could get by just shaving your head. It feels like being bald with extra steps to me. I just do not understand what it buys you in the end. You still have to shave your head every couple of days so your real stubble doesn't look weird next to the tattoo. Besides, if you're already bald, why do you care so much about your hair line anyway? #ScalpMicropigmentation #Bald #HairLoss #HairTattoo #HairTransplant #MensFashion #Discussion #Tattoos #HairCare #Hairstyles 00Share
