I’m getting ready for a long flight soon, and honestly, the thought of sitting for hours with nothing to do makes me anxious. I’ve loaded up my external hard drive with movies and shows—some old favorites, some I’ve been meaning to watch forever. My plan is to plug the hard drive into my Android phone with a USB-C adapter and just binge away. But here’s the catch: my phone battery barely lasts a day at home, let alone on a 10-hour flight. I started wondering if there’s a way to watch from the hard drive and charge my phone at the same time. I’ve seen some adapters online, but I’m not sure if they actually work or if they’ll just mess up my files. Has anyone actually tried this setup on a plane?
