I Found Help for My Daughter's Depression, But Who Helps the Mom? 💔

Last Tuesday, I sat in another therapist's waiting room while my 16-year-old daughter Emma worked through her anxiety and depression. The walls were covered with resources for teens - hotlines, support groups, crisis centers. Everything for them, nothing for us parents. 😔 For months, I've watched Emma struggle with self-harm and panic attacks. Everyone asks how she's doing, but nobody asks about the mom who lies awake at 3 AM wondering if I'm doing enough. The mom who Googles 'teen depression signs' until her eyes burn. The mom who feels completely lost. 😰 I started a small support group at our local community center because I realized - we parents need each other too. We need someone who gets it when we say we're drowning while trying to save our kids. Am I the only one who feels invisible in my own daughter's mental health journey?
