Last night, I spotted the first bloom on my midnight tryst hibiscus, and wow, it’s a total showstopper. The petals looked like velvet under the moonlight, right by the Hatchie River in Tennessee. I always make sure to give my plants plenty of space and water, especially during those hot southern days. That’s my secret for getting these big, bold flowers. I also mulch around the base to keep the roots cool and happy. Every time I walk by, I can’t help but smile—gardening just brings so much joy.
