yortiz+FollowThe 90s had a "prevalent monoculture". Remember when a TV show was bigger than social media?Saw this old picture from 1998 and it just hit me. We all used to watch the same thing back then. Everyone was tuned in at the same time to the same show. It’s definitely a good thing that we have so much to watch now. Our viewing habits are way more varied. But it also means we have fewer moments of collective culture that aren't about news or politics. I'm kind of nostalgic for it. #90s #Nostalgia #Monoculture #PopCulture #Seinfeld #Throwback #SharedExperiences #PopCulture #TVShow #RetroVibes 30Share
Ernest Morris+FollowI Found A Time Capsule Pizza Hut In North Carolina And It Hit Me Right In The FeelsYou guys are not going to believe this but I stumbled upon a Pizza Hut in North Carolina that is literally a time capsule. Walking in there felt like stepping right back into my childhood. They still have those classic red cups for drinks. The light fixtures are just like I remember. There's even a real jukebox in the corner. And get this they still have the old school tablecloths. #PizzaHut #Nostalgia #RetroVibes #Food #PizzaLovers #ChildhoodMemories #NorthCarolina #Throwback 628132Share
schmidtgeorge+FollowThe 90s were great for cars. These ones still managed to be awful. The 1990s were a golden age for cars. It felt like just about every automaker was putting out something legendary, but of course, not everything can be great. For example, the Pontiac Sunfire Convertible was a death trap with a 49% chance of serious injury in a crash test. The Cadillac Catera was a cynical rebadge. And the Ford Aspire was a tin can with no power steering and barely any horsepower. And who can forget those "Dustbuster" minivans like the Chevy Lumina? So ugly but every parent seemed to have one 😂😂 Even luxury brands had their duds. The BMW 318ti was more expensive than a Nissan 240SX but way slower and looked cheap inside. If your car made a list like this, maybe you should reevaluate some of the life choices you made back then. #90sCars #CarCulture #WorstCars #Nostalgia #CarEnthusiast #Throwback #BadCars #ClassicCars #Cars 00Share
RetroVibesOnly+FollowThis past summer, I realized all our "cringe" trends are back. I told you so.They used to make fun of us for being old-fashioned, for our skinny jeans, and for remembering a time before email. They called us cringe for loving the stuff we did. But now, they’re doing it all! Seriously, this summer I’m seeing: Big Hair: It's back, and it's everywhere. Just look at Dolly Parton or Beyoncé. 'Sex and the City': Young people are binging it and living their best Carrie Bradshaw fantasies. Wired Headphones: Yes, with all the Bluetooth options, they're choosing wired. Physical Media: Kids are digging through thrift store bins for DVDs and CDs. JNCO Jeans: JNCOs were huge in a lot of subcultures in the '90s but got mocked and disappeared once skinny jeans took over. Now, they've made a full comeback with Gen Z. It's honestly pretty funny to watch. We just went through all of this already. I guess we were just ahead of our time. It feels good to be vindicated this summer. #SummerMemory #GenZ #Millennial #Y2KFashion #Throwback #INeverStopped #Cringe #TrendCycles 00Share
RetroVibesOnly+FollowThe 1960s had a Bobby Hill and Connie Souphanousinphone too.I saw this old photo of a prom couple from the 1960s and it is just so adorable!! They are taking a picture at home before going to the dance. I could not stop thinking that they look just like Bobby Hill and Connie Souphanousinphone from King of the Hill. #Throwback #1960s #Prom #KingOfTheHill #Nostalgia #Retro #Vintage #Humor #RetroVibes #OldPhotos 11Share
RetroVibesOnly+FollowOh I miss these water features at old mallsI don't know why but I can still smell this place in my head. My hometown mall had a bunch of them, but they just sat there empty for years. Then, they were finally removed around 2007. I'm pretty sure it was to get the mall ready for the movie Paul Blart Mall Cop. It just was not the same after that. #90sNostalgia #MallCulture #VintageMalls #WaterFountains #ChildhoodMemories #Throwback #MallLife #Entertainment 11Share
Carla Smith+Follow3210 or 3310?Nokia Showdown. I can't decide. I had the 3310, and that phone was a beast. I must have dropped it a hundred times, and it never broke. It truly felt indestructible—unless, of course, it was in my shorts when I dove into the pool. But the 3210 was my first, and it just had that classic style. It was a beautiful piece of tech for its time. #Nokia #RetroTech #Nostalgia #MobilePhones #Throwback #90s #00s #ClassicPhones #RetroVibes 00Share
Lisa Goodwin+FollowThis Is What Calling Home Looked Like in the 1980s 😄The girl standing is wearing a Boston College sweatshirt from the Cotton Bowl. The quarterback was a guy named Doug Flutie and he led them there in 1985. So you know this picture is at least from then or later. You can also tell by their hair and clothing that this is definitely the late 1980s. It reminds me of a time when you had to share a phone line or maybe even wait for a turn to call home. 😊 #1980s #Nostalgia #Retro #CollegeLife #Dorms #Throwback #80sFashion #VintagePhotos #Payphone 80Share

Robert Johansson+FollowShould the NBA Bring Back Team Jerseys for the All-Star Game? ⭐️The All-Star Game used to have players rocking their own team’s jerseys — East vs West colors, but still repping their squad. Now it’s standardized uniforms every year. Clean look, sure, but some miss the old vibe when you’d see a mix of team jerseys all on the floor at once. Should the NBA bring that back, or keep the custom All-Star uniforms? #NBA #AllStarGame #NBADebate #Throwback #ClassicNBA #Sports 00Share
